Paquera
Paquera is located a few kilometers inland when arriving by ferry from Puntarenas. It is the first stop for supplies and services in this region of the Nicoya Peninsula. The road ahead leads to Cobano, and the bumpy road north leads to Playa Naranjo, where another ferry launch can be found. Most visitors just blaze through this sleepy little town on their way to the coastal communities ahead. No problem, but if this is you, we recommend at least waving to the locals and respecting the road.
