Tambor
Tambor is a quiet, little village located along, Bahia Ballena (Whale Bay), with peaceful, volcanic sand beaches providing the perfect backdrop for the mellow beachgoer. Here one can find foreigners and laid-back locals who enjoy their isolation from the larger cities while still having the convenience of a paved road to the ferry in Paquera and the city of Cobano, as well as a small airport with daily flights to San Jose.
